honeykid's DVD Collection

Erm, is this any good??? I know Nic Brendon is in this, but I still don't have high hopes for it. Nice collection, mate.

Now THIS is what i'm talking about. Two great films for the price of one. Watched this a few weeks ago, and honestly, it's one of those films that I fell in love with even before I had ever had a chance to watch it. I meant to catch it while it was on release at the cinemas, but didn't get the chance. I think it's fair to say that Vincent Cassell is at his best here, which is a tough thing to say consider La Haine, Irreversible, La Apartment , Eastern Promises, etc.

Curious to know what you thought of it, mate.

Not gotten around to seeing it yet, mate, but I've been waiting to see it for 10 years, so another couple of days won't matter.

Forget Nic Brendon being in it, Kimberly Davies is in it. As a Neighbours fan, that's the big pull.

Holy cow, lol. You are taking me back, Honeykid. I used to think I was going to marry this woman! Alongside Natalie Imbruglia and Holly Valance, the one reason I ever watched Neighbours! Annalise was built like a pornstar. Her sis wasn't too bad, too.

+ rep for those pics, Prestige, but that Nicola Charles didn't play her sister. Emma Harrison did.

Not that she wasn't built like a pornstar as well.

Nicola Charles (Sarah Beaumont) did have a sister in the show, played by none other than Radha Mitchell.

Yep, I'm a bit of a Neighbours nerd. You should see the totty that's on the show atm.

While I'd agree that this might be the best Cassell performance, certainly of those I've seen, I was left feeling a little underwhelmed the film itself. That could be because of the impossibly high expectations I had for it, along with the fact that the second part is pretty much a re-run of the first. That's not a bad thing, but as I was expecting things to push on, I was left wanting a little. I did really enjoy the first part though, while my enjoyment of the second was probably lessened for the reason stated above. I'm sure I'll be clearer about how I feel after more viewings, which it'll definately be getting.

I've not gotten round to Mesrine yet. I know I'll like it, but your measured ratings don't surprise me. I'm guessing it might be a little overrated. Just have to wait and see, as it's in my ever growing 'to watch' dvd mountain.

The first part is the superior film, I agree. The 2nd part had a tough time in trying follow up from such a great start, and while it does little to improve on the 1st it is still, like you said, not bad. Ive yet to repeat my viewings on them but im hoping they get better the more times you see them.

Ahh right, I always thought that her and Annalise were related?? Been YEARS since I watched the show. Over a decade maybe so I could be misremembering things, but I think they were cousins or something, no?

Didnt even know Radha Mitchell was in it, but I guess I shouldnt be surprised seeing as how shes an Australian actress and all, lol. She looks quite fine in those pics, must say. Definitely more on the natural beauty side.

I had a bit of a crush on Billys girlfriend Anne. Not so much nowadays though.

Really? I can still see the appeal.

As for Radha, I've always had a thing for her. I think she may've been in it when you were watching as she played Catherine and ended up marrying Malcolm (Billie's brother).

Catherine and Malcolm.

Ring any bells?

I don't rememeber Sarah and Annalise being related, but it's possible. I always thought she was related to Catherine.

I really must start a Neighbours thread. I think I'll do that tomorrow.

Never a bad thing and yeah, in that pic she does still look nice, Honeykid. But is that pic recent?? I dunno, it's just back then I was infatuated with her and now it's like she's meh.

Wages Of Fear

Now the business is over, back to the Neighbours/totty talk.

No, I think they were taken earlier in the decade, Prestige. This is the most recent pic I can find dated, it's from 2007

Though this pic was used in an article featuring her from 2008

This pic is from another article about the same incident

So I'm guessing that's how she looked 2 years/18 months ago.

Always liked this one, myself, but I can't think why.

Man, Neighbours is so great. I really must start a thread.

Man, Neighbours babes are so great. I really must start a thread
Had to correct you a lil there.

In fact, I reckon we should just start a general totty thread. **** it, iàll do it!
