For me it's The Killer, the closest any action film has ever been to being art. Hard Boiled takes a close second.

I voted for The Killer as well but it was a tough choice. Did anyone notice that The Killer uses the same music as Red Heat (1988)? Did they just copy the music and get the permission from the Red Heat producers?
