The overt personalization that's been happening in these discussion is completely unacceptable. I am closing this thread for the night and will revisit this tomorrow. I'm also issuing warnings.

Everyone involved knows full well what the rules are about ad hominem attacks. There are no excuses, and this simply isn't going to be tolerated.
