So for as long as I can remember, one scene from a movie has stuck with me. All I remember is these soldiers (I think) being run off by a bunch of cavalry men (Or maybe just horse back riders), I think teenagers. I'm pretty sure they were all wearing red uniforms. Two tanks come up over a ridge, one of them being driven by the main villain. The main character rides in between the two tanks and tricks them into shooting each other. And then the villains come out of the tanks all stereotypically sooty and smokey. I wanna say this movie was made in the 90s, maybe late 80s. I know for sure this was the climax though.
