Is The Lost City of Z really worth it? I've heard mixed review, but I'm thinking about checking it out still

Only seen (or even been interested in seeing) Logan and John Wick 2 from those. Logan was surprisingly decent, while I found JW2 a big disappointment I'm afraid.

You are right. It is too slow-paced. Maybe I should change it to The Lego Batman Movie.

Not only is it worth watching, it's one of the most thought-provoking and ambitious adventure films I've seen in a long time. Definitely worth a watch

Guess I'm totally out of it, I haven't seen any of the movies in your top 10.

Yeah, I haven't actually heard anything mixed. One or two "meh" reviews but everything else praises it as an epic on par with Herzog and Coppola.

Even Charlie Hunnam got accolades.

I'm watching Dunkirk this weekend. Very excited.

I'm a bit down on Baby Driver. It's good but the lightest thing Wright's done. In a way it's him toning it down for general audiences in an attempt to get his name out of exclusivity with geek circles.

Baby Driver is the sort of film that you completely forget about 10 minutes after you leave the cinema. Well made for sure, but with no substance to cling on to so it just drifts by.

I just found it very difficult to engage with, very mechanical and empty.

Hey? I didnt see any hostility. I didnt like it either. Gave it 30 minutes, but I loved the first.

Did some posts get deleted or something?
