Will always be remembered for being the best friend of struggling Director Mark Borchardt from American Movie. Not a big name but I know a few MoFoers really like that movie and may have missed his passing.

A damn tragedy. American Movie is my favorite documentary, and Mike is a big part of why.

Oh, man. Bummer. I loved American Movie. I really need to watch it again. It's both odd and fitting that no one knows exactly when in 1966 Mike was born.
