So I got to comment on this. Just watched Out of Africa and it was bad, real bad. How did this ever win best picture? The plot was spotty, the film was too long, and I just don't know how anyone enjoys this film.

Good list, but I think Crash, A Beautiful Mind, and Casablanca are a bit overrated (though the last one is pretty good, so I can't really say much bad about it). I'd rate The Godfather a bit higher, but that's just me.

A Streetcar Named Desire had some good performances. I'd say Vivien Leigh was the best performance of the major 4. Surprised that Brando was beat out by a weaker Bogart performance.
