Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

I really can't believe that I haven't got to seeing Malcolm X or Glory yet. I rented Glory once but didn't have time for it.

Performance wise for me its got to be Man on Fire and The Hurricane

If he's one of your favourite actors you really need to see those two.
I couldn't agree more. I'd also recommend For Queen & Country. I think that was the first Denzel Washington film I saw. I've not seen it since then, but I remember thinking it (and he) were very good. I'd certainly like to see it again.

I was really annoyed by Training Day. I spent the whole film thinking, "If you wanted Samuel L. Jackson to play the role, you should've just hired Samuel L. Jackson. Don't get Denzel Washington to play it as if he was Samuel L. Jackson."

Sorry Harmonica.......I got to stay here.

LOL! That's true. I did find myself thinking SJ would be great in it while watching it!

new "random" list:

"Laugh out Loud Comedies"

The Hangover
Old School
Happy Gilmore
Wedding Crashers
Waiting
Blades of Glory
Swingers
Hitch
Beerfest
Grandma's Boy
Harold and Kumar 1
Night at the Museum

10 films from the 90's that had me laughing outloud maybe not the best but they still had my gut hurting.

Dead Alive
CB4
Loaded Weapon 1
Manhattan Murder Mystery
City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold
My Fellow Americans
Beavis and Butt-head Do America
U Turn
Detroit Rock City
Galaxy Quest

Just a suggestion there's already so many specific thread lists on this site maybe try and come up with ones that haven't already been ask by other posters not that I searched Denzel Washington but it wouldn't surprise me if a thread had already been created asking that very question of what's your favorite denzel washington film same with comedies. laugh out loud is different but most will say that there favourite comedies did just that make them laugh out loud. Anyway good idea maybe just make it a bit more creatively random.

Employee of the Month
