Sylvester Stallone's newly launched production company, Balboa Productions, has just received the okay from MGM to develop a new movie titled Samaritan, which is being described as a fresh dark take on the superhero movie genre. Stallone will star in the lead role.

Filming begins early 2020 with a release date set for December 11, 2020
