Détective (1985)

The Story acts like a tree branching out into lots of little areas building the story as a whole those little touches ultimately make the film more enjoyable for me.

With over 10 main characters it does at sometimes get a bit over done because of the amount of scene needed to be shot over such a small time. But for the most part Godard handles these scenes well he is able to joint 3,4, even 5 character parts in around the same scene creating tention, laughter, involvment, intrigue & drama all in one.

I found that the serious stuff was taken light hearted those certain storyline could have been played in so many ways that it's fun too see a director so brillant as Godard put that type of spin to his movie and work out a seroius solition in such a funny way.
