There was a game going on at the time that was "Avatar Theme of the Week" or something like that and The Simpsons was the theme at the time. I didn't actually know that when I picked the avatar, I just noticed lots of people using Simpsons avatars and remembered that image from my days on Fleetwood Mac forums.
