It's a pretty obvious choice for me - Norman Bates. Not only because Psycho is my favourite Hitchcock film, but the frightening idea that just anyone could appear benign but have so much malevolence in them.



There's a few I haven't seen on the list, but from what I have I'll have to go with the majority here and vote Norman Bates. It's because he's such a charming, innocent young man that we feel sorry for initially in the film yet is revealed to be a killer as the film goes on, plus those final scenes are incredibly creepy.
