On the outside looking in.
So many wonderful films on this list! I know we can't agree on everything, but in all honesty, of all the movies I've seen from your Top 50, only two seem out of place amid the greatness...

Tons of great movies on your list I've seen Blade Runner only once and I thought it was okay, now since there's been some talking about it on the forum,I'm probably gonna rewatch it and see how it goes.

By any chance do you have like a text list of the top 50 movies so I can easily have them all in one place to rate? Save going through posts so I can individually comment on everything. This is an awesome list though, you have great taste.

Nice list, although I am one of the few Mofos who doesn't like Lynch. I'm sure I just don't "get it". I really need to rewatch Blade Runner. I saw it once 12 years ago and didn't think much about it one way or the other. Thanks for sharing your faves

Something like that

The Brave Little Weeman Returns!
This list is excellent. The only thing I would have to say about it though, is that in some places it's extremely conservative (Top 15 especially). Surely there's other films other than universally well-received, critically praised stalwarts?

But would you think that those films were also conservative?

Anyway, congrats on finishing your list.

Nope, I just tend to get suspicious when every film on someone's favourites list is a well-recognised classic. It's as if they're too embarrassed to pick other films, which is why I liked the pick of The Goonies, even though it probably wouldn't make my Top 50

Don't get me wrong though, this is a good list

Make your own list

The Brave Little Weeman Returns!
Make your own list
I need to watch more films first

Then people can criticise mine

But don't you also get suspicious when someone's list is too obscure? Which I think was the point Honey Kid was kind of making.

Oh yeah, I get suspicious when that happens too. All the best lists have a happy medium because they feel like "true" lists, "real" lists.

I do like this list mind, it does feel somewhat real
