one of my Favourite films of all time ''Weirdsville''

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
I agree with Holden about Jesus of Montreal, but I've been loving that one a lot longer than I've known Holds.

I also really like Black Robe, ucon, which also stars Lothaire Bluteau. It has one of my fave musical scores.

Suspect's Reviews

The best Canadian-made film I ever saw was The Grey Fox (1982). Second best would be Black Robe.

I’m told the following films were shot in Canada, specifically around Toronto, but they may not be Canadian made.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Chicago
Cinderella Man
Sea of Love
The Long Kiss Goodnight
Silver Streak
The Dream Team

Hard for me to tell what's a Canadian movie or not now a days, most of them seem to be made here. I swear, everytime I watch a movie I see a Vancouver street in it.

Specificly Canadian ones that I've liked would be:
Videodrome, Scanners, Ginger Snaps, Prom Night, Porkys, & Meatballs.

I need to watch more Canadian films.
Didn’t care for Meatballs or The Decline of the American Empire.

I plan on watching Dead Ringers sometime soon.

is thouroughly embarrassed of this old username.
Wavelength is number 1 with a bullet for sure but to pick a "real" movie its of obviously Black Christmas. Also, honourable mention to many of Norman McLaren's shorts like Neighbours or Pas de deux.

I watched Tremors 2 which imo counts as it has Helen Shaver as the lead female.

I'm Canadian and almost all the movies made here sucks it seems. The two best ones I would say are Quest for Fire and Tucker & Dale vs. Evil.

Does The Fly remake count as Canadian or no?
