I thought this would be the most fitting place to post this since it's not an actual movie, but did anyone watch the premiere of this show on USA? I just finished watching it, and it was pretty lousy. I was curious how they would structure the format of each episode since I didn't think they would just show a full season of purging.
I'll walk the line of not providing actual spoilers, but 90% of the episode is dedicated to character building. This is about the same amount of time the actual movies do (30-45 minutes or so), and then the actual Purge starts at the end of the episode. I really have no sympathy for any of the characters yet, so it will be interesting how episode 2 delivers. How many episodes of purging will there be?
I'll continue watching for now, but my expectations remain low.
