Battle Royale was cool. I don't remember much about Quills or Chicken Run, but remember enjoying both.

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is a film I should rewatch. I wasn't a fan when I saw it back in the day; maybe I wasn't used to the wuxia style, maybe the middle act dragged a bit too much, I don't remember... but I've been meaning to go back to it.

I guess I should check out The Heart of the World. I'm not sure I'd even heard about it before.

I've never had any interest in Crouching Tiger.

Winnipeg's own Guy Maddin!

So far I have Sexy Beast and Chicken Run making the list. A fine double feature but which one do you watch first...

In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

It's been a long time since I saw Billy Elliot, but I remember liking it quite a bit. I'm hoping to rewatch it for the 2000s Countdown.
