Well come 'on, man, how can you even call those HD DVDs when you so obviously know they are not?! I wasn't doubting your ability to download them - anyone can download them - but do you REALLY have a burner AND a player that can play burned HD DVDs?

I'm still calling ******** on that word usage. My money says you TV outted from your computer.

Die Hard:With a Vengeance(John McTiernan 1995)-With Samuel L. Jackson(That's from the song John McClane knows what I am talking about) not as good as the first too but at least the humor of McClane is the same 3.5/5

Those HD-DVDs = Blu-Ray Disc files transferred onto dual sided HD discs. My player plays anything whether Blu-Ray, HD-DVD or standard DVD....and yes even burned.

Inland Empire (Lynch, 2006) - Second time through, and I was really into it this time. I just sat back to let all the images and sounds wash over me this time. Some things are starting to gel, but, I am just going to let it percolate for a while and see what unfolds in my mind...

Normally I'd give a movie at least one thumb up if it contains a boob shot but this movie wont even get that. This is what would happen if Nickelodeon tried to make a horror movie. The boob shot wasn't even a good one. It was at the very end when some kids are watching a porno in the neighboring house. Dang.

Full Metal Jacket(Stanley Kubrick 1987)-I don't know I quite didn't understand the film the first 50 minutes were ok and Vincent D'Onofrio's performance was amazing this guy sure got the evil look

but after that i don't know were the movie went to i'll have to watch it again some time

Disturbia - Surprisingly good! I didn't expect much, it seemed like a rip off of Rear Window, but watching it, I was caught up in its plotline and characters. It reminded me more of Joe Dante's black comedy, The Burbs than of Rear Window, and it had some good performances and was well shot.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie For Theaters - Except for Time Lincoln, I didn't laugh at this and turned it off after a while. Can't recommend it.

C'mon; you honestly didn't laugh at the band of movie snacks, or the bizarre title cards? It mellowed out after that, but the first 5 minutes had me laughing so hard that my face actually hurt.

INLAND EMPIRE (Lynch, 2006)



Come on. You know I am going to be obsessing over this thing for months!

yeah, that part was pretty hilarious. I just couldn't imagine watching 2 hours of that movie after that first bit ended and the pace slowed.

While it is interesting and definitely Lynch-esque, it's really so many steps down from what Mulholland Dr. is and I can't help but be disappointed.

Every theory I've heard can't explain at least 3 or 4 things about the movie, and that makes me wonder if anyone will find a good theory.
