What is the best film you've seen that was under 100 minutes?

One thing I've noticed about almost all of the films that are considered the best is that they're usually pretty lengthy. I thought it'd be interesting to talk about the great films that are shorter in length.

Which under 100 min film, that you've seen, do you consider the best?

My pick is the Malick masterpiece: Days of Heaven.

Master of My Domain
Don't have a single film, but do have a couple:

- 12 Angry Men
- Paths of Glory
- Airplane
- Sherlock Jr.
- Fargo

There's probably a lot more but these are just the ones that popped in within 2 minutes.

EDIT- Brain fart. I excluded Dr. Strangelove.

It's hard to recall, but some of the ones I do remember are Pixar's Red's Dream and The Snowman (1982).

It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so ****ing what." - Stephen Fry, The Guardian, 5 June 2005

Probably not my favorite, but High Noon sprang to my mind.
Yeah I wouldn't say Days of Heaven is one of my all time favorites either, but I do think it's a masterpiece. To me "favorite" and "greatest" are separate categories.

_____ is the most important thing in my life…
Looking through the list, I was surprised to see how many are under 100 mins. Reservoir Dogs and Moon were two that stuck out, but I would have to go with Clerks.

Love the dialogue, the simplicity, the soundtrack, black and white, Randall, salsa shark, Return of the Muppets, milk maids...I shouldn't even be here today.

Before Sunset, clocking in at a scant 80 minutes, is my personal favorite. Like the slightly longer Before Sunrise (which is 105 minutes long) and Before Midnight (109 minutes), it is essentially 100% dialog and an absolutely absorbing experience.

Original Godzilla (96 Minutes)

Duel (90 Minutes)

A system of cells interlinked
Rashomon (Kurosawa, 1950)

Probably the best one!

The Seventh Seal is less than 100 minutes? It feels so much longer than that.
