I wonder if this is the highest you've ever ranked my nomination? I guess the next round will be more of the usual kind
That means Goodies will have at least two selections to listen to for 15 seconds before deciding she has had enough of it, and will just move to the bottom of the list.

I hope she fully watches the video at least. My nomination has one of the best music videos I've ever seen.

You know I will watch it! Sadly, my tune doesn't have a video for it, and thinking about it, it's one of these songs that i am not sure if I love it or hate it. I think that might be a good thing.

AMG claims this is one of the best records in the last 5 years, or maybe even 10. That got me curious, at least. Weird record. Damned weird record.

  3. John R. Miller - Red Eyes

  4. Final Body - Life Prison
also not bad. good run through the song but was slightly disappointed that this was released in 2019! too much a throwback. still good song tho.
  5. band-maid – freedom
rofl. so much to say. i forgot about this band, but as i clicked the link i thought, "huh... reads like a japanese metal band name." yeah. i thought sedai wasn't in this round? also, all i could see while listening were the opening credits to any random season of Bleach.

totes crushin' on that drum solo.
  6. The Fugs - Boobs-a-Lot
    ROFL!
  7. Cosmo Sheldrake - Tardigrade Song
    just something different.
  8. Neil Diamond - Forever In Blue Jeans
not a neil diamond fan, probably cuz of an HBO stage show I caught a glimpse of when i was a kid. turn on your heart. light! but this is a good song.
  9. The Last Shadow Puppets – Aviation
    I'd listen to it again.
  10. Beyonce – Halo
not much of a beyonce fan either, but it's boyonce. so. i'm not a single lady, btw.

Probably, but I don't look at who nominated what song before listening to the songs because I don't want it to affect my opinion of the songs. And I only look at who nominated a song after I listen to it if it's a song that I liked a lot.

I usually get a better idea of people's musical taste from reading the conversations about the songs after people listen to them.

I actually listen to all of the songs to the end of the song, even if I don't like the song. I just lower the volume a bit if it's not my type of music. (And no, I don't lower it all the way to mute.)

Sometimes I even have to listen to the songs that I don't like at least twice just to figure out which one should be at the bottom of my list.

Whether or not I watch the video depends on what I'm doing when I'm listening to the songs. Sometimes I'm exercising, so I can't see my computer screen at the time, and other times I'm just relaxing in front of the computer.

So if you want me to watch the video, you should mention it when you nominate the song, and I'll make sure to watch it while listening.
