I Need a Quick Review

Could you explain a little about the plot or some of the good points about the film?

The key to the film is that it's totally absurd, yet played completely straight. I can't get into anything too specific without ruining the film because it's an exercise in extended tone and never-ending plot twists, but I suppose I could say that it seems similar to a nightmare involving a lonely man, a murder, a police detective and a very sparsely-populated France. I like just about everything about it, but even then I have to stop for fear of giving away details.

Thanks to Linesplay for linking to this, I will be using this. What are your favorite Makavejev films? I'm planning on watching Sweet Movie, WR: Mysteries of the Organism, Love Affair, Innocence Unprotected, and maybe Mans not a Bird. If you would dis include one or two of these, for the time frame I want to watch, so which one would you do. Also his films sound like those of David Lynch, would you agree or disagree with this, just curious.
