Best Last Film - Director

So many good movies, so little time.
I just watched A Prairie Home Companion (2006) again and I really enjoyed it.

I think it may be the best last film for any director. Not too many finish really strong.

Others I can think of John Huston - The Dead (1987) and Charles Laughton's only directed film The Night of the Hunter (1955)

It might be cheating a bit, but the last true feature film Jim henson directed was "labyrinth" and I think it was great!
