Which Do You Prefer?: Tommy Boy Vs. Black Sheep

For me, it's Tommy Boy. I think it's one of the better comedies of that time. Black Sheep is funny, but I feel it lacked some of the charm that Tommy Boy had.

Tommy Boy to me is overall the better movie throughout, but Black Sheep does have some great moments: the concert, getting his tie stuck in the plane, and I laugh every time when the nitrous leaks in the car and he pulls over in the median.

I actually laughed out loud when I saw the title of this thread because for years I have been unable to keep these two films straight in my head...they're pretty much identical films and the only thing I can think of that distinguishes one from the other is that Brian Dennehey plays Chris' father in one of the films...Tommy Boy, I think, but don't hold me to that.

I actually bought both of these movies recently because they were cheap and I was in one of those David Spade moods.

I've only watched Tommy Boy so far. How do you review it......

I liked it, but am I crazy about it and think it's funny? Certainly not.
