Been trying to find this for along time, what i remember:
It was a indie film from the late 90's early 2000's about a man walking around town (looked like new york) having memories/flashbacks of him arguing with his boyfriend or past boyfriend about their relationship in a aprtment. The man is in despair about the relationship.
The scenes i remember are him arguing with his boyfriend/flashbacks.
The Man going to dinner with friends cant get his mind off his boyfriend
A scene underneath a boardwalk peer where men where having sex and he witnesses fellatio being performed.
At the end it turns out his boyfriend who he was arguing with in the flashbacks has died and thats why the man is having flashbacks and walking around town dealing with this.
Any help appreciated if i found this film i would immediately buy it Thankyou
