Can't remember this title!

Hello! I can't remember the title of this movie for the life of me. It was a 90's movie about an African-American teenage girl, she loves basketball, and she discovers that her grandfather was a filmmaker but stopped making films. It talks about Black hollywood. It is a fiction film.

I've restored the initial post. There's no reason to remove it.

I think I may have seen that myself...if I'm not mistaken I belive the Grandfather was still alive and she hooked him up with his high school sweetheart. If that sounds right I'm pretty sure it was a Nickelodeon made for TV movie...I dont know the name, but Nickelodeon's a start. Hope it helps.
