Most Memorable Trailers?

My most memorable trailer that I've seen was the Lord of the Ring: The Fellowship of the ring....when I actually saw it I said to myself that I'm going to watch this film.

Agree with that dude...I love that trailer...I remember the first time i saw it I am excited to see the movie after...

Jeez...
How could I have forgotten this one???

The whole "Lord Vader...Riiiisssssee..." thing did it for me.
(even though it never happened quite that way in the movie)
I was looking for that "Riiiisseeee" part. It's in this cool DnB track and I could not find it anywhere. So it was hiding in the trailer...

Anyway, I don't remember too much trailers exactly, but this one and the one for 300 are very impressive indeed. Cloverfield was interesting as well with the decapitation of the Statue of Liberty, but I got the impression/was afraid that it would be 'just another' monsterflick.

The director of the truman show said he didnt want people to know trumans life was a t.v. show, he said he wanted them to find out once they saw it, but the people making the commercial decided against his idea.

and spiderman 3's commercial was awesome how you never saw venom till you saw the movie

Pirates 3 had a great trailer, the way the swordfight in the rigging of the ship went with the music . . . .oooooh it makes me giddy!

Vantage Point has a great trailer too

You're a Genius all the time
I don't know if I'd call it especially memorable, but the trailer for The Invasion (2007) is tremendous. I love Invasion of the Body Snatchers, so it already kinda had a rooted interest in my brain. And ever since Children of Men came out, I've made it a point to see any science fiction movie that so effectively incorporates a Sigur Ros song into its trailer. It's too bad the actual movie is a mess.

The Invasion Trailer: A+
The Invasion: C-

The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift.

I really like This movie.....The Trailer is really Great!!!

.....doesn't know what to put here!
Naked Gun 2 1/2 - The Smell Of Fear - i remember this one line that made me near die of laughter:
WARNING: "Minor" spoilers below
"If you only see one film this year, you really need to get out more!"
IMFAO

Sometimes the trailers are better than the movies themselves.

For me, its the LOTR trailers particularly the The Return of the King. Visually Stunning...

I remember the trailer for the movie Brick got me very excited, I thought who ever edited that did an awesome job. Also the new Dark Knight trailer leaves much to be desired.

Thanks for the list, Lennon!

"It'll Do Till The Mess Gets Here"
After Lord of the Rings and King Kong I can't think of many better to watch in the cinema. However definitely No Country For Old Men for recent releases.
