She later said that the tongue might've even been from the decapitated head, but she's not 100% sure.

She is almost certainly conflating different films.

The tongue rolling out is definitely Gregory Hines in Mel Brooks' History of the World Part I (1981).



But there is no John the Baptist moment in that flick.
