Profile animated GIF question

Can anyone tell me what are the requirements for an animated gif as a profile pic? Are there MB size limitations? Time loop limitations? Anything else?

Max size is 110x90 pixels.


The file size, maximum is 341kb, which goes for gifs as well.


As for the length of the gif and looping, it's not exactly restricted. Just as long as the gif is smaller than 341kb, the site will allow it.
My avatar, even though it was extremely complicated to make and initially contained over 150 frames, is only 188kb, so you can get rather a lot of animation into MoFo's restriction of 341kb.
