Back To The Future Trilogy
Batman 89
Lord of the Rings
Goodfellas
My Cousin Vinny
Planes, Trains and Automobiles
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut

Fantasy and science fiction. As far as influencing my film tastes I think probably they expanded my thoughts and interests.

All the usual 80s classics, the Spielbergians, the Terminator, Fright Night, Elm Street (really shouldn't have watched the latter two at that age lol). 80s comedies certainly did a lot to form my sense of humour, I'd wager.

Home Alone 3
Rat race
Little Nicky
Black Sheep
Gremlins 2
The 2nd and 3rd Austin powers Movies
Goldeneye
Mulan
Hercules

Ive changed a lot.

Lion King (every day all day)

This, minus the scary movies. Plus add in some very early 90's action like T2.

"Honor is not in the Weapon. It is in the Man"
I watched a lot of martial arts films as a kid, both Asian and American films. I did get the occasional non-MA bug at times. This is perhaps one of my all-time favorite movies as a kid, which I recently revisited and showed my kids:

About a boy who decide to go inside a house that was burned down and he got so scared that all of his hair fell off. The ghosts occupying the house make it up to him by giving him a recipe to get his hair back. He is only supposed to add 1 scoop of peanut butter but he put too much and...well, now his hair won't stop growing! He becomes eyed by his art teacher, who plots to kidnap him to use his hair for a new set of paint brushes and kidnaps other kids into making them for him...yes I know it's farfetched but fun nonetheless. The two major songs of the film, "Michael's Song" and "Listen to the Magic Man" were performed by a pre-fame Celine Dion.
