Apologies for being several hours late from the time I gave yesterday. Decided to take a nap and, well, lets just say that they got extended and messed up my schedule So the results will be posted about now.

I'll start with the disqualified The Descent. First four votes still included it and at that time it would have been on a tied first place. Such a shame CiCi went MIA.
It would have been high on my list.

Suspect's Reviews

Pulse was 6 and eXistenZ was 7th. I considered the later more Sci/Fi, which is why I ranked it lower. Pulse had good atmosphere, but was not scary.

Macabre was my 8th, Pulse 1st (but it was actually really tight) and eXistenZ 5th. I wasn't really expecting (based on prior experience) that Pulse would rank too high but still little disappointed.

Then the second and last tie.

3rd Place (tied)

The Amityville Horror
(Stuart Rosenberg, 1979)
Nominated by Nostromo87
117 min, IMDb
Score: 38 pts (1, 2, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6)

3rd Place (tied)

Ginger Snaps
(John Fawcett, 2000)
Nominated by TheUsualSuspect
108 min, IMDb
Score: 38 pts (1, 2, 3, 3, 4, 7, 7, 7)

Amityville Horror was my 6th. I've never really liked it. Ginger Snaps was my 2nd and it was so close to Pulse but I'm pretty sure that's the order I'll have them on my horror countdown list.

Hour of the Wolf was my 4th. Little artsy but still pretty fine (not too sure if I'd count it as horror though). Deep Red was my 3rd. It's one of the best gialli and great film so I have no issues with it winning. Congratz to @Siddon for another win.

Oh, and The Descent would have been between these two for me.

Who was the jackass that had Deep Red at #8

I lost my list but I believe it was

1. Deep Red
2. Autopsy of Jane Doe (or this was Hour of the Wolf)
3. Hour of the Wolf (or this was AoJD)
4. Pulse
5. Amityville Horror
6. Existenz
7. Ginger Snaps
8. Macabre

HotW was your 2nd, TAoJD was 3rd.

Unfortunately I can't reveal the jackass as I'm going to keep the old ways and let people reveal their votes themselves (if they choose so). But yeah, I wasn't expecting that either.
