Yeah I saw this on Digital Cable, and it hooked me. They're something extremely sentimental about it. By sentimental, I mean that it touches on real human feelings. I think the movie is going to be very thought-provoking, and not just another superhero/comic book movie; in the same way that "Spiderman" is intelligent, I think "Superman Returns" will have the same effect.
When the voiceover says, "They need the light to show them the way." It sounds so hopeful, and almost like a reflection of the state of today's world. I personally think the world needs someone like Superman to save it and make it a better world. Obviously, I know that Superman is not real, but I think you get the gist of what I'm saying. I also love the shot of Superman jumping over the crop fields.
