When you do and get it done, I'll have to take a look for myself. I wonder how many movies your going to do.

Nice one! I really enjoyed going through your list and was surprised by some movies that made the list, but that makes me appreciate it even more. Happy to see that some of my favorites like Nightmare on Elm Street, Casino and Scarface made the list, and loved seeing Panic Room on there, a movie I've watched close to twenty times as a kid. The Godfather would probably be my number 1, but Goodfellas is top five for me so that's a magnificent choice!

1: Goodfellas gets almost everything about mob movies right. I just thought it was a little too slow (just a little). The walking through the kitchen scene felt pointless. But my number 1 is a gangster movie, too: The Godfather. I always noticed new foreshadowings every time I see it.

2: My number 1 for the 80's is Raiders, and I have it in my top 10.

3: Avengers is my favorite superhero movie too, but I don't have it in my top 10. Waa the best superhero movie when I saw it the first tie and it still is. Endgame WOULD have taken that place if it didn't rely on seeing a bunch of other movies.

4. I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU AND I BOTH HAVE SCREAM IN OUR TOP TENS AS OUR NUMBER ONE HORROR MOVIE. I adore meta movies, thanks to Galaxy Quest being a childhood treasure of mine, but Scream did it better.

5: Can't say I love Halloween that much. It used to be in my top 100 before I put in a bunch of other movies. It just got knocked out.

6: Haven't seen American Pie.

7: Zombieland is a lot of fun, but I'm not in love with zombie comedies. Everyone loves Shaun of the Dead, too. They're great, but both about the same. My favorite zombie movie is Train to Busan. Korean cinema rocks.

8: Scarface has some of Pacino's best acting, but his character is hard to like. One of De Palma's best, though. I gave this a 9, and Carrie a 10.

9: Haven't seen the Warriors, but it comes to mind that they're doing a movie about the Warriors books about cats.

10. Die Hard is awesome. I gotta get back to it.

#84

Saving Silverman (2001)
Some might not of found this a great movie but I liked it alot and thought some of the cast was funny in it.

"She used her super-intellect on me! She's like Hanibal Lecter."

I love Saving Silverman...endless re-watch appeal for me.

#80

Pretty in Pink (1986)
Imo, one of the best things about 80s movies was the High School ones, as a fan of high school teen movies that interest me, I liked this movie too.

"It's called a sense of humor - you should get one - they're nice."

#79

Clueless (1995)
The acting from Alicia Silverstone was cute in this movie and did well playing the role of a sweet but spoiled rich teen girl. I like how she begins to mature as the movie progresses and knowing how clueless she was becoming.

"As If"

#78

Not Another Teen Movie (2001)
A funny movie that mocks a few other high school movies in the past years and imagine all the backlash this movie would have if this movie was recently made, which makes you want say to those that are easily offended by every little thing "It's just a movie, cream puffs get over it"

"We all know where this is going... f**king teenagers."

#77

Can't Hardly Wait (1998)
A good 90s high school movie with some laughs along the way especially at the party scenes and the random encounters of the guy that plays Sherman in American Pie, just steals random things in the background in certain scenes.

"I don't know about you, but I really believe that there's one person out there, and for me it's gotta be Amanda."

#76

Sixteen Candles (1984)
Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall did a good job in this movie and for a movie that's PG I was surprised the F bomb was said in it which made me laugh and yes I couldn't believe her parents forgot her f**king birthday.

"I can't believe I gave my panties to a geek."
I've never seen Can't Hardly Wait...but love the rest of these. When I did my list of favorite romantic triangles, Pretty in Pink came in at #1.

The walking through the kitchen scene felt pointless.

It illustrates that this is Hill's world that he appears to be in the centre of, that he knows the secret entrance to. This bustling place where he seems to know everybody and so much is happening all around them. But it also simultaneously lets us see what an overwhelmingly exhilarating thing this is for his new girlfriend to experience for the first time.

Such a scene needs one long take to communicate this. We would lose a sense of the control he has here if it was broken up into smaller bits That would soften the effect of him moving like a king through the kitchen into the restaurant. It would take us out of this moment that works best when we rush through it, the constant turning through corridors and doorways dizzying us like it does Karen.

It's also the perfect set up for his punchline when she asks him what he does for a living: "I'm in construction"

That was obviously going to be her experience. I'd feel that way if some rich woman took me to a high-society restaurant full of suits and red dresses. Ten seconds in that kitchen and a cut to the entrance to the actual restaurant would be all it took for me. You don't need a two-minute secret entrance for that.

Forgive me if I continue to side with Team Scorsese on this one.

There's Something About Mary (1998)
First off, who in their right mind hires some other guy to track down this girl that you loved your whole life and then coming to find out this guy instantly falls in love with her. If I was me, I would go track her down myself, not in a stalker way though. This was a good Ben Stiller comedy.

"We got a bleeder!"[/quote]

There are some funny things in this movie and Stiller makes the most of not the brightest character in the world, but the supporting characters are stupid and the movie feels five hours long.

5 years later and there's definitely some changes to this list, not a whole lot though
