Just so you know, and I believe this is totally legit, but I watched about half of Good Burger when my daughter was a kid and a Kenan and Kel fan. I don't feel I need to watch the other half to know that Chaplin's beautiful The Kid beats it.

I'm going to take it that Bicycle Thieves got a tough draw. I'm not a big fan of it, but I know of a lot of people that are. But seriously, there's no way you can't vote for Rear Window.

The Grapes of Wrath is a fantastic film, though so is Sunset Boulevard. And yes, it is a close battle. The directors both did a great job with the film. I give The Grapes of Wrath the edge in cinematography though, and I got to give it my vote.

The Shawshank Redemption drew a tough matchup to start things off, but it's one of the better well-rounded films I've seen. Easily got my vote.

I've got to see The Long Good Friday and La Grande Illusion. I really can't see either getting my vote, but I figure The Wizard of Oz and Citizen Kane may be up against tough competition.

i absolutely adore Sunset Boulevard, so i'm really looking forward to watching The Grapes of Wrath and seeing which one i decide to vote for.

Bicycle Thieves is a film which i never really enjoyed. So no way is it going to get my vote.

It really is a shame that The Grapes of Wrath drew such a tough opponent first round.

that's how i felt about Paper Moon in bracket 1. going against Star Wars it will never see the light of day.

how did you choose what goes against what, anyway? pull them from a hat randomly or whatever?

OK, I haven't seen Good Burger, but I also know it's not as good as The Kid. So can I vote for The Kid, too? I shouldn't be punished just because I'm too bloody clever to watch crap like Good Burger.
