One of my favorite things about The Silence of the Lambs.

The first two that came to mind were already mentioned: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly and The Silence of the Lambs.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but Tommy Lee Jones at the end of No Country for Old Men?

Since Silence of the Lambs was mentioned, it is worth bringing up Philadelphia. Demme had a thing for filming facial close-ups/reactions, and the scene when Joe (Denzel) meets Andrew (Hanks), and the camera focuses on his face as he looks at everything that Andrew touches is brilliant.

Orlando has some great ones, partly because the film frequently breaks the fourth wall. Mostly it's Tilda Swinton, but there's a romantic scene that consists of a lot of close ups of both characters.

This video is the final scene of the film, so sort of spoilers? (But it's not the kind of movie that really matters how it ends, if that makes sense). But it also has my favorite close-ups of Swinton at 0:32, at 0:57, and at 1:27.
