That 'dvdcheckout.com' account is mine, but i totalled all the dvd's in the house for that.....the one i posted in here is just mine alone.

Makes sense, sadly if i counted all the DVDs on the house i'd only have 5 more.

As for collection, 6/10 (that's good btw)

Posted before, but i'll post again as this 'The' thread....

edit: much less space consuming link to my DVD collection

Going to be interesting to see everyones collections alongside.

Yes and no, i just copy and paste from a word document i use to keep them in check, those extra numbers correspond to discs of content which i lend to people and can forget about. Hence need to record them. Anyway, £40 for a boxset, it's only fair, they're still DVDs not special feature discs, which would be cheating.

Where's your list Parky?

Fair enough.

Enjoy.

Out of all the lists so far, Sinny's is the one that fits my tastes the best.

Jason, I'm really surprised that you don't own a single great classic from yesteryear. Do you not like older films, or have you just not gotten to them yet? I'm sure you're spending lots of dough already...anyway, I'm just curious.

If you're talkin' Raging Bull, Wizard of Oz, Godfather and such.... I have those and others. I haven't fully updated the listings with what I got.

Well, I meant films like Rebecca, Touch of Evil, Casablanca, The Thin Man, Lawrence of Arabia, and Ben-Hur.

Do you have any aspirations to own movies like those? Like I said...just curious...I have no desire to judge, ridicule, or tolerate.

They are all great films, and yes I do own a couple. Casablanca and Ben-Hur.

I know that. It did seem at first when I began to read that you were making me change my opinion and likings in film. (Which I despise) But we're cool .

How long does would it take for me to set up myself on this dvdaffectionado thingamagig?

Parky, you get all your Kurosawa from the rather expensive prices in HMV, or is there somewhere cheaper?

Pyro it kinda takes a while but I think its worth it. its really good to keep track of your dvds.

Here's mine - 311 at the moment, some greats and some that would be considered terrible to many people but I still enjoy them anyway. Anyone care to rate my collection as a whole?
