Life of brain is the most brilliant comedy film i have watched the most, you cant beat it, not even in this day and age.

In fact, he can play almost any role as darkly comic, no matter the type of movie - whether it's the lawyer in Easy Rider, the Joker in Batman or Melvin in As Good As It Gets.
He's got that darkly comic sardonic growl to his voice.
Also agree with choices like -
