Brother & (step) sister movie drama in 2000s

I watched this movie a long time back (between 2008 - 2012 maybe). The guy goes to a club and notices that he shares a lot of common features with the attractive bartender. He asks her out (the bartender is a single mother) but slowly realizes that they maybe connected and it turns out that she is her step sister. The father is dead but he manages to figure out she is her step sister.

I think you mean half-sister. Stepsister/brother means they became siblings because of a marriage. Half-siblings would come from one parent having an affair with someone else. Maybe that will help in your search.
