Raging Bull for me.

I think it's probably on the money.

rankeo is weird I spent 15 min. clicking on my fav soccer players and the result that came out doesn't match my actual fav 4 soccer players..

Ditto. He was wonderful in Taxi Driver, but to me Raging Bull showed much more range.

My personal favorite DeNiro performance is The King of Comedy, but that's just me.

My fave DeNiro movie is the Deerhunter. Followed by Taxi Driver.

I would agree with Taxi Driver, and I'd have Raging Bull, The Godfather II, and The Deer Hunter right up there. I think of him as the 4th most important actor in Goodfellas behind Pesci, Liotta, and Bracco.

The Fan and The Wizard Of Lies contained fantastic performances from De Niro, but don't get talked about much.
