Day of the Dead (1985) or Friday th3 13th: The Final Chapter (1984)

Which would you consider to be Tom Savini's finest hour?

Not sure what would be his finest hour but this one is a toss up. Day in terms of gore is an improvement over Dawn in terms of gross out. Final Chapter is arguably the best Friday effects (even without Kane) even though most of it is quick cuts not counting Jason's lengthy demise.

Day of the Dead is the best film of the two, but in terms of gore, it's pretty close. The Final Chapter has some pretty sick kills, but I think I kinda prefer the balls-out splatter of Day of the Dead.
