RIP Alan Rickman

Hans Gruber has to be the second most recognizable villain name of our generation, only behind Hannibal Lecter. Rickman was an incredibly underrated talent in Hollywood, but deservedly lauded everywhere else. He always added to whatever project he was involved in. Always.
RIP Alan, you were an acting juggernaut.

Definitely an actor I always cherished and loved seeing on screen. RIP.

What a sh*tty week for deaths so far.

I've just seen a nice tribute from Bill Paterson on BBC News's website, where he talks about how much Rickman was valued as a critic by actors. Mark Rylance and Michael Gambon's comments are there too in sound form.

Steeped Beauty, God is Beauty
RIP Alan Rickman. I loved every performance I saw.

I absolutely loved his performance in 'Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy' as Marvin the depressed robot. He will be missed.
