I started a thread on these films before. I saw an old lady nearly buy the wrong film for her grandson... she was thankful to me for pointing it out.

I've got no problem with them making these films...

... but shops should stock them separately from the genuine articles and Asylum and the other companies that make Mockbusters should label their product clearly so people don't get caught out.
The Asylum and other similar productions want that, they want people to get caught out, buy the movie and then hang themselves in shame

I think they get half their profit from morons who think they are renting the real Thor or the real Battleship. It's a company that tries to ride the coattails of other films success.

Suspect's Reviews

As bad as these films are I am a sucker for these films, they are so bad they are awesome! I still remember watching "Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus" and thinking "I am so in love with this studio, I must see more of this!"

Hi, i buy 2 movies in Walmart store from this (miserable) company and i have wached them. I don't know what kind of company is this ,very, very bad special effects, moves are having the same plot like other high end movies, bad acting, i don't how this company still is on the market. Any comment?

We watched their 'Age of the Hobbits' (or 'Clash of the Empires' as they were forced legally to rename) one, on purpose , with the hope it would be 'good bad' and we could review it, but it was just rather agonising to watch. It starred a (presumably strapped for cash) Christopher Judge (of Stargate SG1 fame) and a load of midgets, which to be honest makes it sound better than it was.

There is some amusement in their films, but it is only a kind of warped fascination / respect from the troll in me that they manage to have a successful business model that involves just tricking people into paying for a similarly named film. I have only watched one of their films but it was enough to stay well clear of the rest.

Maybe when i feel like torturing my co-reviewer I will 'accidentally' dredge one up

Asylum was rocks.. nice movie..
