The Queen of England's Mother died on Saturday night my time.

It's not that big a deal. She lived to 102. Which is a great innings.

Not really being a royalist, it doesn't much bother me. Nor has it really caused any Australian ripples.


Of course, death isn't a great thing, so I bet it's very sad for the royal family. But I don't them either. Nor do I want to be a part of their commonwealth. Ah, well. Good luck to her at Pearly Gates.
