I was wondering where the Christmas thread was, I was starting to think you all were Jehovah Witnesses. A Christmas Story is by far the best Christmas movie, I think. I also like National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and It's a Wonderful Life (although my opinion of it being a "Christmas Movie" differs from others)

TCM has a super lineup of Christmas movies on all day. Right now, it's The Man Who Came to Dinner. Then, in order, they have The Bishop's Wife, The Cheaters (I've never seen that one!), Cluny Brown, Remember the Night (you need to watch that one if you never have) and my wife's fave, Meet Me in St. Louis. There's more after that, but it'll be Christmas by then. Mighty Christmas!

It's too bad I only have channels 2-28, no TCM. Remember the Night huh, starring Barbara Stanwyck and written by Preston Sturges as I have been informed just now on imdb. Tough to lose with his dialogue and her delivery. I take it that it's alot lighter than the other film starring her and Fred MacMurray that I've seen, the excellent Double Indemnity.

A Christmas Story is a prerequist in my father's home growing up so i watched that one this year but i watched emmitt otter's jugband christmas for the first time in years.

I hate myself for not owning the one Christmas movie I would gladly watch every day of the year. Home Alone. One day I will get the DVD and not have to pay $18.99+ for it!
