Robert Forster has passed away

His career began with a small role in the Elizabeth Taylor/Marlon Brando film Reflections in a Golden Eye and then put himself on the map with a short lived NBC private eye drama called Banyon. His career stalled for awhile until Quentin Tarantino cast him as a sympathetic bail bondsman in Jackie Brown, which actually earned Forster an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting. Forster passed away yesterday at the age of 78

I was very sorry to hear about Forster's demise. He'd had a long career, and in the past 15 years or so he'd become something of an institution. Good, strong, reliable actor.
