I think they should stop making new films

and re-release old ones.

Not even funny. What is it with the totalitarian turn of the last few months? I know, I know. No politics. But what the hell, seriously. I would ban this way of thinking is what I’d do. The irony.

I mean since they release so many remakes and sequels and prequels these days I honestly wouldn’t mind for them to stop giving me the sad leftovers and awful imitations and just hand me the real deal.

What Hollywood needs to stop doing is remake foreign films into American films.

Stop making movies, and start making documentaries about the evolution of Memes and reality TV shows like Duck Dynasty/Kardashians for historical posterity. Only in black & white though.

I want to agree with you but still far too many Americans refuse to watch foreign language films and so too many great movies never get the recognition they deserve. With the popularity of anime with the younger generations though, that may be changing.

Not my problem ppl are lazy and Hollywood can't think for themselves.

Maybe they should just stop making all new Alien prequels / sequels?

I'll give em one in between the first two, though.

Do we really need 8, 9 or 10 sequel and prequels. They make the studios big bucks but we need more originality, not the same crap over and over.
