What are your top three re-watchable tv series?
Really dense, rapid-fire comedies, mostly, because there's enough jokes in each episode that I always forget about some.

More than 3 but what comes to mind immediately is the old Twilight Zone, the original The Outer Limits and Perry Mason episodes.
TZ had great writers, rampant tragic irony and The Outer Limits did something very similar but with sci-fi. Perry Mason was just an easy watch with an entertaining, repetitive plot line. Not matter what, the police ALWAYS accuse the wrong guy.
If there were a number 4, it would be the Beverly Hillbillies.

These are the ones I actually rewatch periodically:
Battlestar Galactica (the newer one)
Breaking Bad
Deadwood
Six Feet Under
The Sopranos
Carnivale
Rome
The Crown (I'm just finishing up a rewatch now)
Outlander
John Adams (miniseries, every year around the US Independence Day)
There are probably others, but these are the ones I've seen multiple times. I'll probably add Better Call Saul to this list soon, too, as well as Seinfeld and possibly Friends.

Arrested Development is what we watch when we can't agree on what to watch.
Band of Brothers gets a watch every year or so.
Chappelle's Show for when I want a quick laugh.

The third one is negotiable. The other two aren’t.

It's rare that I make it a goal to rewatch series that I've seen before. I'd second Yoda's recommendation on comedies. If I see "Frasier", "Everybody Loves Raymond", or "The King of Queens" on TV, I might check individual episodes out from time to time, but I don't try to rewatch the whole series generally. I did that with "Curb Your Enthusiasm" before the final season because the show was ending. The only time that I'll typically rewatch a TV show that I've already seen is if a new season is coming up, and it's a complicated show, and if I didn't do that, I wouldn't remember enough about what transpired in the previous season to follow the continuation. However, for that, I'm more likely to watch the final episode of the previous season rather than the whole previous season.
I have watched the whole series of "Columbo", and agree there is some rewatch potential there, because I usually won't remember how he catches the murderer, even if I've seen the episode before.

I don't think I've ever fully rewatched a series longer than two seasons. The Good Place might be the best candidate I can think of for that. Some others I've rewatched:
Jury Duty
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Touching Evil (US)
Jericho
Standoff
Sugar
The Bear, though this won't be true after the third season comes out this week.

I've seen it back in the 90's but it was mostly recently when It was several times on the TV channels here in the last decade. I've reawatched parts and pieces every time in this period. That's a classic television production.
