if I want to laugh, I need it mainlined with stand-up comedy. It's very rare I find any humor in movies in the "comedy" category. I never liked slapstick, screwball, or stupid. I seem to like angry behavior, someone calling out bullhit, getting to the truth, exposing something essential flippantly, or things that are well-written (usually inside laughter).
I'm thinking of funny parts, and they're all in dramas.
-Harry and Tonto
-La Strada
-One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
-Buffalo '66
or that scene with Joe Pesci in "Casino" when he starts yelling about Charley M.
