What war movie was this in colour?

I watched a war movie but I only remember one scene. The scene shows an army truck parks outside a gate on the other side are shops or a prison camp Im not sure but Germans are running the place and where women are working. Men in the army trucks are either British or Americans. They set up bombs on the gate while German soldiers guard the area. One man in the truck gets out quickly runs through gate to visit a girl who he said hed never see again after a fight but now wants to tell her he loves her. The men outside the gate are setting up bombs to wait for them to get back.
The girl gets through alright gets inside the truck but just as she is waiting for him to return the bombs on the gate blow up creating an explosion that kills him and the army trucks leave.
