Oldies But Goodies - thought provoking movies from the past.

What movie do you remember that sent chills down your spine (not horror) or made you think a little more about a subject.

I'll go first: The Conversation with Gene Hackman. Don't forget, this was made in 1974.
The film revolves around a surveillance expert and the moral dilemma he faces when his recordings reveal a potential murder.

Lorenzo's Oil 1992

On occasions when I thought life was unfair I remembered the boy from that movie, and quickly shut up.

Victim of The Night
Night Of The Living Dead.

Crimes and Misdemeanors

Cassandra's Dream

An Irrational Man

Match Point

These are all Woody Allen movies that happen to broach a subject I didn't know I was uncomfortable with until I saw it happening on the screen in front of me...the ides of committing and getting away with murder.
