For the first time since he left the show in 1984, Eddie Murphy hosted SNL and totally brought the house down...Mr. Robinson, Gumby, Buckwheat, we got to see them all and they were just as funny as they were the first time Murphy introduced the characters. We even were treated to glances of Eddie's pals like Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, and Tracy Morgan. If you missed it, treat yourself.

I was glad to see him, but I can't sign off on the brilliance of the performance. The holiday dinner was the only thing that really made me chuckle.
