2015 NFL Combine and Draft

I am curious to see what these guys run!

Kevin White - WVU - WR
I kind of hope that the Jets can pick him up. I think that he would be good for the team because of his speed, not to mention that Geno has worked with him in the past at WVU and I think it would make him more comfortable. There has been talk that they may keep him as the starter. Projected to do a 4.4 40.

Tre McBride - William & Mary - WR
I thought that this guy was going to come in to the draft last season but he didn't. He has a lot of speed and skill.

Maxx Williams - Minnesota - TE
This kid is a double legacy. His Grandfather was QB at Notre Dame and drafted by the Chicago Bears. His father played for the NY Giants.

Amari Cooper - Alabama - WR
This guy is projected to do a 4.4 40. I am curious to see if he can do it. I didn't see any Alabama games this season.

I think Amari Cooper could be a great pick for a WR needy team this year. A team like Cleveland, Tennessee, Jets, or the Rams could use him.

Some of the mocks have Kevin White coming off the board before him. I don't know. I just hope the Jets draft an offensive player in the first round. I am sick of D coming off the first round every year. There is a lot of talk of the Jets and the Eagles trading if Mariota is still on the board at 6. I hope that is the case. I don't think that a rookie QB would be the answer that the Jets are looking for.

The combine today wasn't much. The people who were expected to shine did. No surprises today.

All the fun stuff at the combine starts at 9AM tomorrow. RB, QB and WR all drill tomorrow.

Almost all the mocks I have looked at have Cooper going to the Raiders. There are a few that have him going to the Jets but most put Mariota with the Jets.

The guys today that were expected to shine certainly did. Mariota ran the 40 in a time that would have made any WR proud, 4.52. Phillip Dorsett was the stand out WR. I hadn't heard of that guy until today, I don't watch much college football, but he did really well.

NFL Networks 'Path to the Draft' (my favorite show on the network) is now back on the air! They have Trae Waynes coming to the Jets. I could be alright with that.

NFL offseason is nuts. This is more like the MLB offseason usually is.

Jordan Cameron is with the Dolphins. Jason Worilds, Jake Locker and Patrick Willis all retired.
